The Funky Pink Poodle is a City and Guilds and Pet Care Trust accredited Academy of Grooming offering bespoke training and seminars covering a wide range of needs. Be it the newcomer, existing businesses or breed clubs across the U.K and Europe.

Katrina Allegretti has gained successful practical experience in the commercial world of dog grooming and the international world of dog showing along with gaining sought after qualifications such as the Advanced level 3 dog grooming with Distinction and the Certificate of Education (Post 16) to name afew. Katrina is a qualified assessor and internal verifier and consultant for various colleges and is the originator of the Inter – College Grooming Challenge/Newcomers grooming competition. All of which gives Katrina an invaluable insight into grooming for a living and enabling others to have great success in the show ring.

On a personal level Katrina is having great fun and success campaigning her standard poodle who is well on his way to gaining his Champion title having numerous Green Stars and CACIBS (international tickets). 2006 Milo went on a plane to Finland and came back with a CAC Finnish ticket and a big cup! All of this serves to give Katrina even more in-sight which qualifies her to pass onto you. Recently completing the Kennel Club examinations Katrina has embarked on her judging career – more dogs for her to get her hands on!
